Make Your Own Happiness

Hello, I'm Angela, aka Sunshine to some of my friends.

I am a goal setter and a go-getter, a lover of projects to keep me busy, a mom to five beautiful kids, a homeschooler, a wife and business partner with my handsome husband.  I am a dabbler in many things and have many hobbies and interests.

I am a believer that I can make my own happiness.  I love the feeling of accomplishing something that I've been working on for a long time, seeing something I've created or imagined come to reality, or finally checking off a task that's been lingering on my to-do list for far too long.  Those things bring me joy.

Some of my favorite things are hugging my children, seeing them learn something new, seeing a spark of creativity in their eyes, watching them grow and creating fun memories out of everyday experiences and magical holidays. Being a mom makes me happy.  Taking care of my family, even though it's tiring and overwhelming sometimes, brings me satisfaction and happiness.  I couldn't ask for a better job.

Creating a loving relationship with my husband who is my best friend and an amazing dad makes life joyful and fulfilling.  Surprising him with fun dates, gifts, chores done, special notes, or something romantic helps me to focus on how much I love him, want to support him, and how I like spending all of my time with him forever.  He makes me so happy.

Through this blog I hope to share some ideas of how to create a Happily Ever After, the DIY way.
